The People's Park

On Saturday, December 10th, 2011 The General Assembly of Occupy Pittsburgh renamed the site of their encampment to The People’s Park.
The downtown site has not been Mellon’s green since demonstrators took the land on October 15th. The People’s Park belongs to no one and everyone.
Pittsburgh’s is the only Occupation to reclaim land from a bank. We have done so successfully and are prepared to defend The People’s Park.
