Social Media Working Group

 

Critical needs: Laptop; people with own equipment to help livestream, make videos; website help

We are maintaining Occupy Pittsburgh's Facebook, Twitter, website, Livestream and other social media accounts. We are also helping to project the needs and updates of the Occupation. In addition, we are supporting the work of independent media makers. We have a yurt at the camp with limited electrical power for members of our working group.

Newsletter
 
The Occupiers Chronicle will be a print newsletter. It will be
developed to more completely reach out to folks who may not have the
time or space in their day to get updates via the internet on all the
cool things that are happening with Occupy Pittsburgh AND to better
outreach to folks who might not have access to the internet at all.
Right now this is going to be a double sided newsletter, but based on
the interest of lots of cools folks, we see it growing soon! Folks who
would like to contribute should contact us either in person OR email
us at occupiers.chronicle@gmail.com. At this point the deadline for a
story/contribution is every Thursday at 1pm. We will be meeting at 6pm
every Saturday near the media tent.
